Safe & Effective Skin Tightening with

Plasma Fibroblast @InUrSkn

What is
Plasma Fibroblast?

Plasma fibroblast treatment, also known as plasma skin tightening or fibroblast skin tightening, is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure used to tighten and rejuvenate the skin. It utilizes a device that generates a plasma arc to create tiny controlled injuries on the skin’s surface, stimulating the natural healing response and promoting the production of collagen and elastin fibers.

During the treatment, the device delivers ionized gas, or plasma, to the targeted areas of the skin. This process creates a controlled thermal effect, causing the skin to contract and tighten. The plasma energy is applied through a handheld pen-like device that emits the plasma arc while hovering over the skin.

The plasma fibroblast treatment is primarily used for reducing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, sagging skin, and other signs of aging. It can be performed on various areas of the body, including the face, neck, abdomen, and hands. The treatment is often chosen as a non-surgical alternative to more invasive procedures like facelifts or tummy tucks.

Who should opt for
Plasma Fibroblast?

Plasma fibroblast treatment can reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the face, neck, and other areas of the body. It stimulates collagen production, which helps to tighten and smooth the skin.

This treatment is effective for tightening and firming sagging or loose skin. It can be used to address skin laxity on the face, neck, jowls, abdomen, arms, thighs, and other body areas.

Plasma fibroblast treatment can improve the texture and tone of the skin. It can reduce the appearance of acne scars, uneven skin pigmentation, sunspots, and other skin irregularities.

Plasma fibroblast treatment is commonly used for non-surgical eyelid tightening or blepharoplasty. It can help reduce sagging skin on the upper eyelids or minimize the appearance of under-eye bags.

Plasma fibroblast treatment can be used to minimize the appearance of stretch marks by stimulating collagen production and tightening the surrounding skin.

What is the working principle of
Plasma Fibroblast?

Plasma fibroblast treatment works by utilizing a device that generates a plasma arc or ionized gas to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin’s surface. The process involves the following steps:

Preparation: Before the treatment, the area to be treated is cleansed, and a topical numbing cream or local anesthetic may be applied to ensure comfort during the procedure.

Plasma Arc Application: The practitioner uses a specialized handheld device that emits the plasma arc. The device consists of a small probe or tip that releases the plasma energy onto the skin. When activated, the plasma energy creates a small spark or arc that comes into contact with the targeted areas.

Controlled Micro-Injuries: As the plasma arc touches the skin, it creates controlled micro-injuries, often referred to as plasma dots or points. These micro-injuries are tiny areas of superficial damage that penetrate the outermost layer of the skin, known as the epidermis.

Sublimation and Contraction: The plasma energy causes sublimation, which is the process of turning solid matter (in this case, the skin) directly into gas without passing through a liquid state. The sublimation effect leads to the contraction of the skin cells in the treated area.

Heat Transfer and Stimulation: The controlled thermal effect produced by the plasma energy is transferred to the deeper layers of the skin, including the dermis. This heat stimulates the fibroblasts, which are specialized cells responsible for collagen and elastin production.

Collagen and Elastin Stimulation: The heat and micro-injuries trigger the natural healing response of the body. Fibroblasts in the dermis respond by producing new collagen and elastin fibers, which are essential components of healthy and youthful-looking skin.

Tissue Remodeling: Over time, as the newly produced collagen and elastin fibers organize and remodel, the treated skin becomes tighter, firmer, and more rejuvenated. This leads to a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and skin laxity.

Know More About
Plasma Fibroblast

The following steps are typically followed in a Plasma Fibroblast procedure:

1. A numbing cream is applied to the area to be treated for a period of about 30 minutes.

2. Dr. Sejal then uses a Plasma Fibroblast Pen to create controlled micro-trauma on the skin’s surface.

3. The plasma energy stimulates the production of collagen and elastin fibers, leading to skin tightening and rejuvenation.

4. The skin is then cleansed, and an antibiotic cream is applied to ensure no infection can occur post-treatment.

5. A soothing face mask is used to ensure that there is no inflammation of the skin.

6. The final step is to apply a moisturizer and sunscreen to ensure that the treated area is protected from the environment and sun damage.

1. Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 days.

2. Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen.

3. Use a moisturizer.

4. Use a mild face wash.

5. Do not scrub or rub your skin.

6. Do not apply makeup for 24 hours.

7. Do not undergo any salon or spa procedure for up to 72 hours.

8. Do not wax, thread or bleach for 7 to 10 days

Immediately after the treatment, you may experience redness, swelling, and mild discomfort in the treated area. This will subside automatically over the next 48 to 72 hours. There may be some minor scab formation, but these scabs will also fall off on their own.
After 72 hours, the skin will feel softer and more supple with a generalized feeling of tightening. Over the next weeks and months, there will be a reduction in wrinkles, fine lines, and scarring, with an improvement in skin texture and tone.

Please note that multiple sessions may be required to achieve the desired results.

Associated Procedures
That Can Help
Laser Skin Rejuvenation

Laser Skin Rejuvenation uses the ability of laser to target and treat blemishes in the skin that are caused by environmental factors and lifestyle choices. At InUrSkn we use Nd Yag Lasers to treat a variety of conditions ranging from simple overall tanning to concentrated pigmentation marks and birthmarks.

Medical Peels (Chemical Peels)

The idea behind skin peeling is to carry out a controlled injury to the skin such that when the skin heals, it becomes a lot more supple and clear. This process of controlled injury to the skin by use of medical solutions is called skin peeling and the solutions themselves are called Chemical or Medical Peels.

Vampire Facial (PRP Facial)

PRP treatment uses platelet-rich plasma, which is taken from your own blood in order to produce results. Dermatologists use different names for this procedure like Vampire Facial, Blood Facial, Sanguine Facial, PRP Facial and so on, but don’t let that scare you. Beyond the scary name lies a natural proven mechanism which is extremely effective.

Skin Polishing (Microdermabrasion)

Skin polishing or microdermabrasion is a procedure that involves removing superficial dead layers of the skin to reveal the underlying ‘fresh’ layer of skin and help stimulate fresh cell growth. This is among the most popular, proven and tested procedures.

Iontophoresis (Ionization)

Iontophoresis Therapy (often referred to as ionization) is a procedure which involves delivery of medication, serum or peel into the deeper layers of skin by means of stimulating the skin with low intensity galvanic current.

Medical Skin Cleanup

The process of getting rid of any whiteheads, blackheads and comedones along with removal of deep embedded dirt, grime and sebum is called a skin clean-up. This procedure is done with instruments designed to pick on your skin and exfoliate your skin, and hence it is best done in the sterilized environment of skin clinic and not a spa or salon to prevent any infections.

Skin Resurfacing – Microneedling

Skin Resurfacing or Micro Needling is a process in which controlled micro-wounds are created on the skin. These micro wounds tend to help in boosting the process of collagen and elastin synthesis in the skin leading to a smooth and supple skin.

Laser Skin Resurfacing

Laser Skin resurfacing is the process in which an ablative laser is used for the purpose of improving the texture of your skin. At InUrSkn we use the gold standard of ablative lasers for this purpose, namely CO2 Laser. Dr. Sejal expertly uses this laser with fine controls in a fractionated mode to help patients with a variety of conditions like scars, stretch marks, open pores and so on.

Oxygen Facial

An Oxygen facial (also called CO2 facial) works towards improving the metabolism of skin cells and increasing the collagen levels in your skin by a phenomenon called Bohr’s effect. This is the phenomenon in which by generating CO2 on the outer layer of skin, there is an increase in the O2 levels in the deeper layers of the skin. The increase in oxygen improves cell growth and cell biosynthesis leading to a better, younger looking skin.

A hydrafacial is an extensive all in one facial which uses a variety of techniques to achieve fresher, healthier and younger looking skin. The facial starts with techniques that cleanse and exfoliate and then moves on to revitalizing the skin with hydrating and brightening serums. This is then followed by steps which help in activation of collagen generation and tightening the skin. The final steps aim at soothing the skin while locking the serums in the deeper layers of the skin.

Carbon Laser Peel

A Carbon Laser Peel is called by different names like China Doll Peel or Hollywood Facial, but at its core is a Laser Skin Rejuvenation Treatment. In this procedure the carbon ‘peel’ or ‘mask’ is used to enhance the efficacy of the laser to achieve an gentle yet thorough exfoliation of the skin. In addition to this exfoliation the procedure retains the advantages of conventional laser skin rejuvenation towards reducing skin pigmentation.

Laser Spot Reduction

Laser spot reduction is the process in which we use Nd Yag Lasers in a focused mode to treat distinct marks and spots on your skin. These lasers are suitable to treat a wide variety of spots and marks on your skin including but not limited to birthmarks, Age Spots, PIH marks etc. The wavelength of the ND Yag Laser is such that it is able to target and treat the excess melanin in these spots which leaving the surrounding area unharmed.

HA Injectable Treatment

The occurrence of Hyaluronic Acid in deeper layers of our skin is the reason why our skin remains taut, supple and fresh. But with ageing and other lifestyle choices there is a reduction in the HA levels in the skin.

To help restore the HA levels, a Hyaluronic product called Volite is injected into the middle layers of the skin. This helps hydrate the skin from within, improves the elasticity of the skin and promotes collagen synthesis.

Meso Skin Therapy

Mesotherapy is the mechanism by which a serum consisting of growth factor proteins is delivered into the middle layers (mesoderm) of the skin using either injections or ionization.

These growth factors help towards resolving issues like lower cellular metabolism or poor blood circulation and hence help in overall improvement of skin quality.

Scar Treatment with Fillers & Threads

Dermal Fillers and Medical Threads are generally used for helping reduce signs of ageing like wrinkles, sagging skin and volume loss. But because of their property of being able to help stimulate collagen and elastin, they are also used as effective treatments for depressed scars like boxcar scars and rolling scars.

Medical Facials

A medical facial is generally a combination of skin rejuvenation procedures designed to suit your skin type and also to help you achieve your skin health goals.

The procedure involved in these customer medical facials are all medically proven to be safe and effective and are all done under the supervision of a qualified dermatologist.

Full Body Skin Rejuvenation

Full Body Skin Rejuvenation is the extension of skin rejuvenation techniques to the entire body or larger areas of the body like back, arms, legs etc. These procedures maybe sought for reasons ranging from purely aesthetic to medical issues. A variety of skin rejuvenation techniques ranging from lasers to peels and ionization can be extended to larger body parts based on the desired outcome.

Microneedling Radio Frequency (MNRF)

Microneedling Radio Frequency, also known as RF microneedling or Morpheus8, is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure used to rejuvenate the skin. This treatment involves the use of a device that delivers radio frequency energy through tiny needles that puncture the skin, creating microchannels. The process helps to promote collagen production, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, and improve the overall texture and appearance of the skin.
