Which advanced treatments can you consider for ageing skin?

In some cases, ageing takes such a toll on the skin that basic skin rejuvenation techniques tend to have limited effect. In these cases, more advanced anti-ageing treatments are often prescribed by a dermatologist. Depending on factors like skin concern to be treated, age, skin type, etc. , your dermatologist may suggest one or more of the following anti-ageing procedures/treatments.

High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU)

The biggest myth about facelifts is that they are restricted to deeply invasive facial is far from that . It is a non-invasive procedure that uses ultrasound waves to restore the skin's elasticity via natural collage and cell regeneration.

Dermal Fillers

With age, Hyaluronic Acid (HA) level in the skin begins depleting, resulting in loss of volume, sagging skin and deepened facial lines. Dermal Fillers help restore HA levels and bring about fullness in the treated areas.

Injectable Botulinum Toxin (BTX)

Botulinum Toxin (BTX), popularly known as bo - tox, is is a purified protein that acts by blocking nerve impulses to the muscles. This weakens their contraction, thereby reducing wrinkles and fine lines. After a thorough examination, a qualified dermatologist calculates the exact amount of injectable needed, and arrives at the best application methodology as per the area to be injected
